Bought this for my boyfriend after he mentioned he's always wanted one....he loves it and I was really impressed with how quickly it was delivered. Would definitely use this site again!

The watch has a simple white face, and a delicate patten on the inside and outside of the half-hunter case, and the time can easily be read when the case is closed.
Things I like about it: it is an inexpensive yet stylish watch. Before it came to me I was concerned that it might look cheap and tacky, but when it arrived I was pleasently surprised to find that it actually looks very valuable.
Things that I don't like about it: the chain is a little heavy but that is easily rectifiable, since it can be replaced. Also, the catch is a little stiff, and if pressure isn't directly over the catch while closing the lid then the mechanism can get stuck, meaning that you have to flick it back into place.
But all in all I like this watch very much, I just hope my boyfriend will like it equally so!

Many years ago I regularly repaired watches as a hobby and today I still carry out a few repairs as well as replacing batteries. Sekonda have always impressed me for value and I've noticed that the movements they use often turn up in much more expensive brands. Don't be concerned about the movement in this inexpensive watch - it'll be fine. So what about the case? Truly amazing quality with an elegant beauty. Being a half-hunter the hands are visible with the lid shut and the glass permits enough of the hands to be seen to easily tell the time. The lid fits perfectly - this is often a weak point in hunters - and there is no lash in the hinge. The lid pops open with a press of the crown to reveal a truly stunning dial and hands. Very nice indeed. As a bonus the watch comes with a snake chain and clip which seam to be of good quality but do be careful with snake chains, they can kink if badly treated. Overall great value for money and highly recommended.

The watch looks amazing, much more expensive than it was, I'm really impressed. The gift box itself was for an ordinary bracelet style watch however so I may have to buy a separate box. However I don't mind because I feel like I've saved a lot of money on such an expensive looking watch, from a good watch-makers too. I'm getting it engraved as a 30th birthday present and I think everyone will be impressed with it.

Amazing value to find a pocket watch at this price. Initially I was concerned that it may look cheap when it arrived, so was pleasantly surprised on opening th box.

The watch opens really smoothly to reveal a large clear white face with roman numerals, that is easy to read.

The inside case has a neat concentric circle pattern on it and looks really good.

THe back is plain and the fronthas etched roman numerals, which means you can tell the time without opening the case although some numerals (those with two and three digits are slightly closer together and aestehtically a little unbalanced.

The chain is a simple snake chain, which I have replaced with something a little heavier as it was a little light for my taste.

I bought as a first purchase yto see if I liked a pocket watch and this is an excellent purchase and now am now converted.

Would reccomend as a first pocket watch without hesitation.

No tiz true.Watch is quite plainly ellegant,no frills,beautiful action on

the case&movement exactly what you would expect from seconda.If you wear

waistcoats regularly,buy one.

At my age (68) I would like to see the time without having to put on my glasses.

This watch is ideal.

It is robust so that I can keep it in my trouser pocket. I can see the general time without opening it but it is quite smart when I open it to see the correct time.

For the price and delivery - a super purchase.
