VERIFIED WATCHSHOP BUYER (PURCHASED: THU 14TH AUG 2008)
It looks beautiful and the material used is good. Unfortunately the mechanical movement is a letdown. My watch gains on average one minute every two days. The minute hand always fails to align with the markers and it occasionally stops after re-setting with the crown pressed down while the second hand keeps running. The case isn't properly sealed, so it's very easy for the dirt to find its way into the case and deposit on the glass case back. At first I thought the one sent to me had these problems, so I returned it and got a replacement, but the replacement had the same problems. Therefore I sent it to Rotary for a free repair. It seems to me they didn't bother to repair it. Instead they sent me a new one which has the same old problems. I think that these problems are the inherent defects of the mechanical movement and are beyond repair. Anyway I must admit that the WatchshopUK's customer service is very, very good, albeit the persistent problems of the watch I bought from them.
