Watch arrived promptly and beautifully packed. Found the instructions a bit confusing as they cover all models manual /automatic/quartz and waterproof.
Eventually realised you could wind up the automatic version(!?).
My watch stops during the night when I am not wearing it (about 4-5 hours after taking it off) unless I wind it up . The manual said that it should have a reserve of 40 - 60 hours. Perhaps the accumulatour is faulty . The latest date on the packaging/literature is 2004 so the "new" watch could be 8 years old.
There are no telephone numbers or web site addresses given by either the supplier or guarantee depots so I cannot get any advice.
The Watchshop do not accept items back after being worn so I am left with the option of sending it to a repair depot but there doesnt appear to be a returns procedure for these.
Dissappointed after spending £400 pounds I would expect some customer service/advice.

This is best watch I have acquired. The gold and the brown strap is an excellent complement. The clasp fastening is a secured addition to such a pricy watch. The face is appealing to look and the time keeping is accurate. One down side is that when I’m not wearing at night it has stopped at night. I think after a few weeks of wearing it my wind to its maximum and go through the night w while I’m sleeping.

I bought this watch to replace my Tissot Seastar Automatic which I purchased in 1980.
This watch looks very good and I regard the purchase as a very good buy.

I bought a Tissot, as the last one i got in 1967 is an advert,for how good they are made.
Perhaps it could do with a clean and service.
However this automatic eliminates winding.and the pain of battery changing,
I could not believe how quickly the delivery was to my door, inside 24 hours.

I received this watch within 2 days, as promised, and I am delighted with it. The gold hands and batons complement the case very nicely, giving the watch an expensive look and feel. The fast beat ETA movement is interesting in itself. A quick search on Google will confirm its pedigree.The day/date window is nicely relaised and amply large enough to read easily. Furthermore, the dyay and date are nicely centred within the window. This is excellent value for just over £400.

This is an excellent Tissot automatic watch based on a design from 1957. It has a ETA 2836-2 movement, a beautiful domed sapphire crystal glass, a rear to view the workings and a brown leather strap with a deployment clasp. The body is stainless steel with PVD gold plating. There is clear attention to detail in the design of this watch from the font used in the word Tissot on the face, the letter T on the crown and the Tissot engraving on the clasp that make this a very attractive design that goes well with a suit and more casual dress. The day of week and date are visible with the additional touch that SUN is in red (see picture) and you have a choice of just showing the day name of the day of week number followed by the day name (e.g. 7SUN), The only negatives are that it is only water resistant to 30m and the leather strap is a bit stiff. Perhaps the strap will soften over time, if not it can easily be replaced. Overall it is a very good watch at a great price with design and features that are often found in watches three times more expensive.

I have two Tissot watches in my collection, the TISSOT PRC200 and the most recent purchase the TISSOT Visodate. This is a beautifully designed time piece that takes its design cues back from the 50's. The use of the classic TISSOT logo on the dial and on the deployment clasp add that extra touch of the TISSOT heritage. The watch is 40mm has a domed sapphire glass, its automatic and (I love that ticking sound). it features both date and day display and It has a nice croc style leather band. I bought the gold pvd case white dial. I highly recommend this watch for someone who is looking for a very nice understated time piece that is very classy.

Its even more beautiful then the standard picture and the 3D image. A fantastic dark red borwn leather strap. The Watch itself cannot be explained in any other way then perfect. its not to big or to small, its pure white background and the gold plated metal ..love at first sight.
There is nothing i dont like about this watch. i will admit i was a little worried about the watch being to big but it wasn't. the strap have a very reasonable size, one would really have to make an effort to create a problem with this.
what more an i say , well the 3D picture is 100% correct however it might look a bit big but dont worry about that and i assure you that its is much more beautiful, perfect then the pictures on the website.
I Highly recommend this watch for someone who is looking for something elegant but not to much alike a 100% gold watch. This is what you're looking for.

I chose the Tissot Visodate Automatic Watch because I wanted a clean and simple look, at the end of the day I wanted a watch, not a computer with a million gadgets.

I was not disappointed with the watch at all and would certainly recommend.

My only gripe is with the strap.

I haven`t got the biggest wrist in the world but this strap is on the last but one hole, for the buckle and therefore would have been better if a choice of lengths were available.

The choice of 4 watch variations should also please.
