The watch is perfect. I was choosing only from Tissot watches and was unhappy with either some part of design, or color, or functions… But this one PRC200 is really BAD  I mean in a good sense. Initially I was hesitating regarding thickness of the watch, but when I got it – I realized it is in perfect shape and size – not to big, not to “fat”, sits just right on the wrist. The steel bracelet is just perfect – gets warm in few minutes when on the wrist, does not collect humidity as one could expect with leather stuff… Actually initially I was introduced to this watch with “leather + white face” combination. I did find it some kind of retro looking and that bought me to make a further investigation in the Tissot watch line. And then I’ve noticed blue faced one on the web. That was perfect match and after that was unable to spot some real alternatives, regarding design + functionality + price. If your eye got on this watch on the web, go ahead, you will love it even more on your wrist. By the way, the Watch Shop service is excellent. I’m living in Eastern Europe, Lithuania. The shop does not deliver Tissot outside UK, but you have to ask the friend living in UK to arrange all the simple logistics, that is no big deal. Good stuff. Cheers, Martynas

My name is Nastya, I'm 7 years old. I live in the small town of Moscow, which is located in the European part of Russia. Once my dad went into the shop with a clock and he really liked the watch Tissot PRC200. And since I love my daddy, then clearly decided to give him a birthday this watch. I google the internet and found a wonderful shop www.watchshop.com with a huge amount of positive reviews of Russian buyers. I decided to make a purchase in this store. I lacked a bit of money and I asked him to do me a small discount on the father's birthday, but Uncle John said that he could not do it as it is against company policy. Then I asked to make a discount in honor of the birthday of Elizabeth II, but his uncle told Alex that it is also impossible. I had a week to save on school lunches, but I still gained the required amount and make a booking. It should be noted that the support service responded very quickly to my emails, was not held and the lesson I received a reply. As quickly after payment daddy watches were packed and sent my beloved daddy. Watches have come to Moscow just very quickly - just 12 days. My dad was very, very happy when I received this gift from me! Now a bit about the clock. They are just excellent! This is a work of art. Everything is thought out and fitted to the smallest detail. Watches are made in the combination of white and blue (it's Dad's favorite color). They have a lot of arrows and buttons. If you press the top button, then start spinning arrow, if you press the bottom button, then arrow back up - very nice. Watches little bit hard (I thought about 141-145 grams), but my dad is not very easy. I think that this watch is much better than it looked with the bracelet, but not with leather strap. Heartily thank the team Watchshop for help with a gift. All my schoolmates, I will recommend to buy watches for dad just you. Thank you so much!

I thought for a long time how to tell it. There is lot of thoughts, but an essence is one. Therefore I decided just to write my small story.
I dreamed for a long time to be an owner of the Tissot PRC200. I loved it because of characteristics, appearance and price/quality relationship. And here it is, long-awaited day has come, the watch is at my hand (Look review above, for 8/4/2010). Happiness has no limit, as the entire half a year as well. But in one day, arrived to home, I didn’t find it on my hand. It was catalepsy, horror. Apparently, someone has stolen it in a shopping center, probably, also dreamed for it and haven't possibilities to buy. And here it is, an essence of all – instead of getting other watch, because I already have been owner of such model, I, without hesitation, bought the same Tissot PRC200 in the same day. I consider it as truth recognition of quality of the model. I hope that with these watch nothing will occurs, but if it will be necessary, I will buy this watch for the third time!

I got this item as a replacement for a watch that was stolen, which was also a Tissot PRC200, although it had a black face and leather strap. I chose to go for the metal strap this time as I felt it gave more security on the wrist, and I was not wrong. I’m still unsure whether I prefer the leather or metal strap, as both are exceptionally pretty, but having received the watch I am more than happy with it. The blue colour is very nice and is shiny without looking at all tacky, and looks very nice on the wrist.
Obviously I was already satisfied with the quality of the watch, as I bought the same one twice, having had the previous one for nearly 3 years without it failing once. The watch feels very nice, weighty enough to feel like a quality item without being heavy enough to be a burden to wear; in fact it is barely noticeable when on the wrist.
The watch is very accurate, as is the chronograph function, and I am fond of the fact that the hand one would assume to be the second hand is in fact the chronograph second hand, I’ve had people tell me my watch has stopped in the past as it wasn’t moving, however I think this is a nice quirky touch.
The overall look of the watch is very stylish and mixes traditional and modern quite well, it looks sleek without looking flashy and ostentatious, and certainly looks much more expensive than it is. It looks equally at home with a suit and when dressed more casually, so is the perfect all round watch. From my previous experiences I also know that the glass is very tough, being sapphire crystal, and it is very hard to scratch (my previous one didn’t have a single scratch).
The watch is also presented very nicely, which makes it a bit extra special if it is being given as a gift, even coming with books on the history of the firm.
I personally believe that this is an exceptionally nice watch, although in fact that maybe it’s only downside, perhaps it is a target for thieves! I’m certainly delighted with this purchase, as it looks even better in the flesh, and I highly doubt many people would regret purchasing this beautiful watch.

Easy to see face from any angle, super colour with the contrast of the chronograph stands out subtely well.
Would'nt buy this if you have small hands or wrists as it is a large watch.

Each time I visited a certain high street jewellers this suave watch glistened at me, tempting me in for a closer inspection. Upon each inspection it left me wanting more and demanded more attention, almost like a statement I proclaimed to my partner that I wished I could have this watch. Obviously she became fed up of my dreams and surprised me with the watch as a gift last weekend.

The watch up close is even more striking and persuasive than behind a glass window. Its style seems very traditional for a gentleman's watch yet it imposes a feel of power and subconscious confidence boost. The watch contains three small time faces within the main dial, a 30 minute timer, 60 second timer and a tenth of a second timer which provide the ability to accurately time and split time. Each is more perfect than the last and the detail within each is fascinating. The crystal clear face glistens in the sun light and reveals the most delicious of blue's on the watch face. A blue so distinct and inspiring it returns my memories to the moment when a shallow crystal clear cove turns into deep blue open water. The date is shown in the bottom right curve of the face and is visible at the quickest of glances due to the ivory white sheen of the date location. The watch strap is made up of a chunky tight fitting gloss and matte link representing the masculine power. The clasp contains two hidden push buttons which upon firm pressure release themselves to the wearer. Cumulatively the watch has a weighty feel to it, yet whilst wearing the watch it is unnoticeable and presents the feel of quality which so many watches lack. The watch's image portrays that of success and power and would fit into the category of professionalism, although worn without a suit the watch emits a presence of a clean useful and attractive timepiece.

When using the watch it's quality feel is enforced through simple tasks such as setting the time and timing. The quality and power portrayal begin through the water resistant screw down crown which upon usage give a robust and long lasting feel. The crown has a smooth and malleable feeling and upon reaching the desired setting location (time, date or reset function)it emits a satisfactory ''click'' further adding to my joys. The action of setting the date and time were straight forward and the timer reset function further increased my affection for the watch after observing the 30 minute, 60 second, tenth of a second and large second timing hand complete a full fluid and controlled 360 degree spin to reset themselves. Upon re locking the screw crown the water resistant ability of the watch is noted for 200m, for a diver this is the minimum recommended depth and I am fortunate to say that the watch has survived numerous dives already, even in the freezing English shores!

To sum up this watch is a hard task because it emits an awe of attention. The simplest of functions is done to near perfection through this timepiece and the unnatural confidence boost which I gain is one which I urge you to try out for yourselves. Add to this the exquisite presentation box created by Tissot including secret compartments holding the manual, the guarantee and the certificate of purchase then this watch is a gift suitable for any occasion.

Superb watch. Blue is exactly as pictured in white light, and slightly darker in yellow light. The links are easy to adjust, and fit my slim wrist perfectly, no hassle. Watch has a nice weighty feel and all my chrono hands align perfectly (thus far). I also love how the chrono dials are a slightly lighter blue, offsetting the deep blue dial.

Overall, a sleek piece which I now wear to work and on social occasions. I was never the type to pay extravagant amounts for watches, and I look forward to owning more Tissots in the near future. I think they offer excellent value for money, more so when you consider the markups on some other Swiss brands.

This is a good quality Swiss made watch. The bracelet is solid and chunky and the dial is just slightly larger than some watches, however this does not make the watch look "blingy" in any way. I purchased the watch for my son to replace a Citzen watch he had lost. It is far superior to the Citizen. The dial is a deep blue with the two inner smaller dials a lighter blue which makes them stand out. The watch comes in an excellent presentation box with manuals and even a cleaning cloth. Made up with the purchase.

I recently purchased a mens Tissot PRC200 Chronograph Watch T17158642
The first thing that strikes you is the impressive packaging. Tissot have obviously spent a lot of time and effort in developing a customers first impression. On opening the presentation box the watch looks stunning with it's pollished stainless steel bracelet and face against the deep blue dial. Although the time was an hour out it dosn't take to long to follow the set up booklet to adjust the time.

I dreamed about this watch for a good time. And now I became an owner of it. It is exactly what I waited and dreamed for: Tissot PRC200 in blue color with stainless steel bracelet.
Look: perfect, shiny stainless steel, perfect quality of its polishing, perfect quality of details, beauty of Tissot, style of successful man.
Functionality: tachymetre working as promised, chronograph with precision of 0.1 second, date, everything in mega quality.
I was lucky, because my wrist was 17 cm and it took exactly 2 segments off the bracelet. Segment length is significant, so it may won't sit on your hand so perfectly if you won’t be so lucky.
It’s a very good swiss watch for it price, and I haven't any doubts at any second about this deal

If your anything like me you will be saying: But which one? There are so many to choose from! As you cant see it until you order, how do you know you wont hate it once it arrives at your door? Reviews were important for me when buying my watch, therefore this Tissot PRC200 chronograph deserves an in depth review to explain just how good it really is.

Starting with its look, it has a classic, strong and striking design, which is even better than the pictures on its page. The main face is a rich deep-water blue and contains 3 smaller timer faces that are a lighter sky blue and shimmer due to their rough texture. The glass face is always crystal clear and my watch over the last six months still looks and feels brand new! The strap and buckles are slightly chunky and very shinny. I say this not to put you off but to inform that they fit perfectly with the watch’s image and that they do not stand out too much when warn on a bare arm - This was one of my main concerns with the pictures on its web page as I was worried that it would look too flashy. It is not the case however as the watch emits a sense of quality that looks great in professional situations (especially worn with a suit) as well as casually with a tee shirt or when swimming.

All the hands hover over the markings at exactly the right position so when they move each marking takes its turn to become hidden. This is even more evident when you start using its timer. The timer can count up to thirty minutes, captures time to the nearest tenth of a second and has a fantastic split time function that gives the watch the air of a precision digital stopwatch whilst keeping its classic analogue mechanisms. One of my favourite things about the watch is that it simply seems to deliver a sexy and masculine look whilst obviously being an object of quality and durability. A point even noticeable down to the quiet but firm ‘click’ sound it creates whenever you push any of its buttons – it screams quality! This brings me onto the watch in water. With a screw down crown and water resistance of 200 meters, the watch has all the qualities of a good diving watch - without the massive price tag. My personal experience (although not diving) has been brilliant; I have worn it on multiple snorkelling trips and never had any trouble with either water entering the watch or salt water damaging the exterior. This is also true for a friend who has the same watch and also swims with it.

As well as the PRC200’s obvious aesthetic attributes, it also houses small details and mechanisms that make it slightly quirky and brilliant. One of these is the reset mechanism that is used after the timer has been running. For example: Due to the chronograph (after the timer has been running), two of the smaller hands and the larger hand will be in different positions. A press of the reset button sees all the hands simultaneously flying around the face and setting in the twelve-position – a bit James Bond it might be said! Another quirky feature is that the large hand (the one usually the second hand on most watches) is only the second hand for the stopwatch. The seconds counter for the main watch is the small circle at the bottom of the watch face. Again, these qualities are small and only really noticeable to the wearer, creating a watch that is great to look at from afar, but even better to look at up close.

My watch arrived in its original, strong Tissot box along with a 24-month warranty, cleaning cloths and additional strap joins that made it easy to get it fitted at my local jewellers. Although I know I should not focus on it, Watch Shop UK’s service was first class, with the watch arriving within 24 hours. To finish, I hope that I have expressed how much of a good watch the Tissott PRC200 Chronograph is and quashed any worries you might have been having about it. It is a truly stunning watch that I feel will not be beaten on price – or for money double what it is worth for that matter – and will be an investment that will sustain its charm over a considerable amount of time.

Tissot are known for quality and affordable watches, I have owned a ladies Tissot watch in the past but stopped wearing it for a few years as it was a bit small for my liking.

As I was after something bigger I decided to have a look at the men’s watches, and this particular watch stood out for me. I didn’t want something that was too classic and simple. It’s a beautiful watch, and I love the blue colour. The watch itself doesn’t feel too heavy. Also I have small wrists and the size of the face is just right.

The only minor gripe I had with it was the strap adjustment, as mentioned it is hard to get it adjusted to the exact measurement that you require, so mine is a little loose.

I usually wear this watch to work, and also on dressed down casual days.

Before buying this watch I have visited regular shops to see it live. Well, non of the shops had it on stock (it tell me that this watch is not easy to find an every second wrist). Even if I really like mechanical watches, I have decided to buy this one because design. The timepiece I have received surprised me a lot in a positive way. Pictures can not reflect the beauty of a blue dial changing its tone depending on light. Every little detail is done pefrectly. The size is very correct. The housing does not look giant on my wrist but the dial looks big because the bezel does not take too much space.
The only disadvantage I have found is the change of date which takes about an hour (from 23:00 to 0:00). I find is rather long.
In general: I love this watch. It looks great with the suit but also with casual wear.

This is my first new watch for years, and I'm not regretting the purchase! It's very comfortable; the links are wide enough to be practical without looking over the top. The method of opening and closing the strap is nicely made, and easy to operate.

Talking of easy to operate, this watch is a doddle to set, and the crown even screws down so that you can't adjust the time by mistake! (This also ensures the watch stays water resistant.) The chronograph (stopwatch) function is also very intuitive, with one button to start and stop, and one button to reset. It even has a tachymetre function, which allows you to gauge speed (as long as you know what distance you've covered).

The color of the face is very classy - in bright sunlight it is clearly blue, but in darker conditions it looks almost black, with hints of blue only where the light hits it. It looks good without being garish.

The only negative thing which I can think of is that the links are quite big, so that it's difficult to make very fine adjustments to the size of the band. If you're very fussy about where on your wrist you wear the watch then this might be a problem, but I just moved it about half a centimetre up - problem solved!

I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone. I've had lots of compliments (including the guy who adjusted it, and he's seen a lot of watches!) and at this price it's such good value.
