Ok so the watch itself looks great exactly like it does in the picture, I opted for the white face solely because I already have watches with black and blue faces but I have to say I defo made the right choice the white face is gorgeous and sets the watch off perfectly. The fit of the watch is almost perfect the face is just the right size not to big where it looks blingy but still enough to be eye catching. The chronograph is pure quality the smoothness of the movement is there to be seen and it's also remarkably easy to use. Overall i'm delighted with my purchase great price, great look, great style what more can you ask for, trust me if you buy this watch you won't be disappointed.

Great looking watch even better than the picture.The white face off the watch makes it look very stylish ,and the bracelet is very good quality.My only dislike was setting all the dials this was due to the centre winder ,you have too pull this out to three different levels to set the different dials the watch seemed to have a mind of its own but this seem's a lot better now probably because the watch is new.

I took a while deciding on a new watch and decided to spend rather more than I would normally, and after seeing a similar watch on a friends wrist, I finally decided on the Tissot PRC200. I toyed with the idea of the blue one or the white one, but thought the white one just looked more classy and cleaner.



It oozes quality from the moment you slide off the slipcase, the box itself is a work of art with numerous nooks and crannies keeping all the paperwork tidy!



The watch is heavy, but not too much that it is uncomfortable or noticeable after a while. As my wrists are on the small side, I did have to have the bracelet adjusted by a local jeweller (who was feeling generous over the New Year break as they did it for no charge). Others have commented on the bracelet either being too tight or too loose after it's been adjusted, but this wasn't my experience, it now sits perfectly on my wrist and is very comfortable.



The dial is large, but not overpowering as other modern watches can be, and is bright and clear. All the hands line up perfectly to the markings (always a sign of a good quality movement), and the chronograph stopwatch works faultlessly. The luminous markings on the hands and face also work well in the dark (If I could have something on the wishlist, it would have been a backlight, as they always work better when you want to know the time in the dark, but that's my only quibble).



I love it, and am glad I spent a little more than usual on a quality timepiece as this.



Finally, I know it says not to comment on WatchShops service, but I feel I have to comment, as it was first class. Great communication, from start to finish, knew exactly what stage my order was at from the moment I ordered it, to the moment I signed for it at the front door - and would highly recommend WatchShop to anybody and I would certainly use them again without hesitation.

Super watch! I am so happy to have it! It is exactly like the one that I've tried in shops and it is original :). There were some small problems on delivery due to the box, but everything was ok finally. The box is also lovely and very original. The gift bag it is a simple white one.



In conclusion I am more than satisfied with this watch and this services.

Lovely watch , very nice .Have had mine for 6 months losses 5 mins per day, the chrono doesnt re set properly even after se setting by moving the crown out to centralise the chrono hands and the split facility doesnt work now...should have kept mt £50 Brietling replica that kept perfect time and chrono reset properly! ...i want a replacement or a Tissot service under warranty. Hopefully this isnt indicative of the range and once sorted i can enjoy un troubled use...not happy

As a present from my parents for my 40th birthday, I was given the opportunity to choose a quality watch for myself, rather than them selecting one for me (I’m a bit of a watch buff and very picky about the design). So the hunt began.



After several purchases from WatchShop over the years and being extremely impressed with their service I began my search with them, and once again was very pleased with the selection on offer and the competitive prices. As with all purchases online you cannot help but compare other websites for pricing and selection. Once again WatchShop gave the best of both in my view and being able to read other people’s reviews of products is a great feature (like this one hopefully!).



Tissot watches have always been on my wish list for many years decided to opt for one from their extensive range. I have several watches with black faces and fancied a classy and sporty chronograph watch with a white face for a change. The Tissot PRC200 and the PRS200 both caught my eye. Eventually I opted for the PRC200 purely because it has some large numbers on the face (12, 3 and 9) which makes for easier reading at a glance. This may sound silly, but the PRS200 does not have any numbers except for smallish tachymetre figures (have a look at the pictures on the website or visit a jewellers, as I did, and try to discern the time at a glance). It is much easier on the PRC200, which after all is the idea of a watch.



Incidentally, this watch cost £280 in all the jewellers I visited – so at £225 from WatchShop, it’s a real bargain.



I decided for the PRC200 and placed my order.



My watch was delivered the next day as promised, and it is fantastic. I’m very pleased.



The Tissot packaging is very impressive. The watch comes in a rather heavy and well constructed box which protects the contents very well, which gives piece of mind as it travels through the postal system. As well as the watch (obviously), the box contains an International Warranty and instructions which are tucked away in little side drawers next to the watch, a nice touch. Tucked away in the lid of the box is a nice dark blue felt cloth for cleaning (I presume) the watch, which is handy. The underside of the box has little booklets on the history of Tissot watches and other products from their range. I know the box is often discarded but on this occasion it is worth keeping. It is really quite classy.



Anyway, back to the watch itself. And what a watch it is. Upon first glimpse of the clear white face, with the Sapphire Crystal glass, I was very impressed. The dials are a pleasure to read and in no way does the face seem cluttered, as can often be the case in other chronograph watches. Once removed from the box, it has the substantial feel and weightiness of a quality watch. I personally prefer a weightier, sturdy watch, and it is indeed a heavy watch, but it does give the reassurance that it is very well constructed. The stainless steel bracelet, in my opinion adds that special touch to the watch. It has four rows of links; 2 highly polished and 2 brushed steel and the overall effect is fantastic.



The dial is 40mm across and despite the fact that I have very slim wrists (about 17cm) it does not look too big and overwhelming as some of today’s watches seem obsessed with being.



I took my watch to a local jeweller to have the bracelet altered to fit me correctly. Other reviews of watches in the Tissot range have quibbles regarding the fit of the bracelet either being too big or with another link removed, too tight. I don’t like my watches being too tight and prefer them a little loose. Three links were removed and the watch fits me perfectly.



The deployment clasp on the bracelet is very sturdy, yet easy to open and close. It has two buttons, one either side of the bracelet which you press simultaneously to open it. It is very easy to use. The clasp on the PRS200 has a second fold over clasp which is the same design as on my wife’s Caterpillar watch and is a bit too awkward and fiddly to use for my taste. The clasp on the PRC200 is ideal.



If I had to be picky about one thing regarding my watch, it is the fact that the second hand is on a small dial at the number 6 position at the bottom of the watch and what you initially presume is the second hand, the long thin traditional hand is actually the second hand for the chronograph function. This constantly points at the 12 o’clock position and only moves when you start the chronograph which sometimes makes you think the watch has stopped if the chronograph is not in use. You can start the chronograph feature by pressing the top right button and let it run constantly which gives the impression of a traditional watch with a sweeping second hand but this means all the features and dials are in use on the watch and will probably drain the battery much more quickly. This is only a minor quibble, but worth mentioning I feel.



I showed my new watch to my parents and they were really pleased that I had chosen a watch of obvious quality as my 40th present. My dad is a bit of a watch buff himself and was so impressed with the aesthetics and substantial feel and quality of the watch that he is now considering purchasing the same model for himself.



To sum up: A great watch for a great price from a great retailer. Buy one.

Deceptively, this watch always appears bigger in all the photos I have seen (including my own) than it does in real life! It is a decent size, but if you like chunkier watches it is not for you. I bought this for the 200 meter diving standard, but am yet to test it in water. The steel bracelet is great, but adds weight and finding a comfortable fit is a real challenge! Mine is either too tight with 3 links removed, or wobbles with only 2 removed. I like the white face and the polished steel, which gives the watch a clean and simple look. Hopefully, it will give me a few years of trouble-free service!

I have just received this watch as a birthday present and I must say this is a stunning piece to look at!



The surgical grade stainless steel has a great shine to it and the white face really sets this watch off.



The watch has a nice weight to it which gives it a great feeling of quality.



Everything about this watch oozes style and really must be seen up close to be fully appreciated.

The Tissot PRC200 comes with a big Tissot box with a lot of accessories (pompous box itself, foulard, Tissot book, high quality product catalogue et cetera).



I would like to evaluate it in design and quality/functionality.



Design:

No question the watch looks great! It is very massive but not too big. You can wear it with casual clothes but also in office with a suit. The stainless steel is perfectly polished and very glossy so that the watch really shines from your wrist. The dial looks extremely detailed with its tiny numbers and is an eye-catcher in white.

There is really nothing negative I could say about the design.



Quality/functionality:

As I have experienced with other Tissot watches, you get more than you pay for! The handling is really perfect, the dial is extremely exact.

The only negative thing I can report is about the metal bracelet: there are only few possibilities for fine adjustment, so in the end the bracelet is a little bit too tight for me. Adding one link would be too much... So this is the only room for improvement.



Result:

Magnificent design and quality at a reasonable price. I can warmly recommend it to everybody who wants to enjoy real swiss made quality!

This watch really looks far more expensive, that it actualy is. The robust body fit my style in casual and also formal cases.



The only problem, that I have is, that the seconds arm does not lay accurately on the "12" position. I've brought it to the Tissot service and been told, that it's normal inaccuracy of the machine and it's nothing unusual by this model.

Firstly I was in doubt to buy black or white edition. White one is looking bigger (visual effect) and if you have large wrists I believe the white version is one for you.

Beautifully made watch! ... I couldn't deicide on which colour I preferred at first (blue or white), but eventually decided on the white as I felt I looked better and classier - I wasn't disappointed! The watch it expertly made, decent weight giving a sense of value for money when wearing it on your arm, the timer is spot on each line with every tick and it is also really shiny.



I highly recommended this watch and in the search listings I can't understand why the blue is more popular than the white, as I feel side by side the white colour looks better!!



Overall 10/10 and the customer service at the 'Watchshopuk' was first class. You are informed about the progress of the order and dispatch. Item arrived before 9am next day without fail.
