Rating: Very good (4 / 5)
I brought this watch after reading some amazing reviews.
Having received the watch, and used the watch in bad times and good times, I feel now is the time I put pen to paper or stroke the keyboard to share my experience thus far.
Perhaps, I will start with ordering. I ordered the watch from WatchShop. After filling a couple of forms that took less than 30min, I received the watch next day! I cannot believe how quick they acted. The only thing that I was anxious about was the lack of real time update for delivery. After the first email I received regarding my watch being prepared, it took to the next day a few minutes before the postman knocked on my door for me to receive an update.
The watch arrived in a nice and economic packaging. I like how the box of Tissot appear as if a stack of books on one side while on another you get the iconic red “T”.
Now comes the bad, so that I end in a good.
After adjusting the buckle to fit my modest wrist, I discovered the buckle had the tendency to pop open. During times when I am barely moving my wrist such as typing on my work computer, the buckle stayed shut and secure. As the opposite of a couch potato, as soon as I do some stretching, running, or even changing my gear when driving, the buckle would tend to prop open. The only nice thing apart from hearing the pop is that the watch never came lose. Nice grip between the straps, I suppose.
I took the watch to an actual WatchShop retailer store near my office. I explained to the shop assistant what I experienced. I was tended to swiftly and they performed a switch of buckle. All this took less than 30 min which I am really pleased since it did not eat up my lunch time.
The face of the watch is good. The SuperLuminova is not that effective but maybe I am just being picky. I had a black dial which plays well with my work attire not too flashy, a played down approach that does not scream Tissot. What I am amazed is the detailing present such as the T as end of the second hand of the chronograph.
The chronograph is a very useful addition. For an automatic watch under £700, to have a chronograph is a big bonus. I use it very often given my job that requires me to keep track of time spent between projects. There is a good feedback from pushing the start and stop pushers but not a very mechanical and satisfying click. Perhaps I am being picky again having been used to Oris chronographs.
Since the buckle was changed, I have now gone on power walks, jogging, and even push ups without the strap coming off. I have shared beautiful moments of my day with my new work watch. I am just disappointed that for a Swiss Watch, the buckle passed quality check that one normally expect to be very rigorous.
All in all, for budget, EDC watch, this is a good addition to any mans wardrobe.

Great watch all round . Love the look very stylish/ smart a real classic time piece. It is quite chunky in depth so could look funny on a tiny wrist only down side to me personally is being automatic if you dont wear it regularly it will stop so you therefore have to keep setting the time. But think its style is so much better than the cheaper non automatic models and is worth the extra.
