I have been looking for new watch for long time. I used to have Seiko 5 Series for 15 years. This was great watch however after some many years I had to buy new one. I was checking other brands however all of them were similar and did not offer nothing more than standard. I have found that Seiko and this was love from first look. Watch has perfect size, great mechanism Kintetic and Perpetual Calendar. It has very comfortable leather strap with easy open and close. It is very individual and not common. You can wear it with the suit and with casual. From my point of view Seiko offers very good quality for good price. Best proof is that this is my second watch and it is Seiko. I hope it will works for next 10-15 years :-). I would like to also recommend Watchshop as a very professional shop. The communication is very good and fast. Watch has been very good packed and delivered on time.

I bought this watch for me because I wanted something very special and spent hours researching many brands and models. I chose this Seiko model because is has a classy and yet sporty look. It can be worn every day and on special events also. It is water resistant and does not require batteries (it is charged by movement of your hand).
I just loved it. It is very comfortable, looks very nice on the hand and made from very quality materials (the sapphire glass is scratch resistant). I received countless admiring comments by my friends!
The one slight down side to the watch - the fastener on the strap does not have a fail safe. Also i am used to a bigger case watches but i think i will just get used to this one also :)
In my opinion this watch is the only one of its type on the market, other similar watches are at least 10 times the price and are not as nice. I think i made the best choice considering cost and quality.

Watchshop services: the packaging was good, you can easy detect whether the box was tampered or not, shock absorbing stuff within the box protecting the package of the watch, nice gift bag with logo of Watchshop, clear invoice with the instructions regarding the returns and full order history; shipment as promised – with the Royal Mail special delivery, the correct date of delivery was indicated when I placed the order. Good job!
The watch: it is brilliant example of the Seiko, I owned 3 Seiko’s previously but not Premier’s. Packaging from Seiko is with a double white box, black inside cover and black pillow, with the manual and guarantee inside. However the package boxes of the watch felt a little bit not new and opened many times before. Watch is very nice looking, correct size for the middle size men’s hand (see picture), all the details inside watch clearly visible and sharp looking, leather strap good quality and with a comfortable and easily adjustable metal closing. Leather strap was a bit unfit on the hand at the beginning (probably because of the long time position in the packaging) but after wearing it for couple of days it adjusted itself very nicely. Watch is not too heavy; with the hand movement of bigger amplitude you can hear the silent noise from the moving parts of the kinetic device which charges the battery. This noise is possible to notice if you are in quite environment and listen to the watch carefully. I especially enjoyed the power save and “wake-up” functions when the watch catches the right time and date (including LY) after the stand by. Energy depleting forewarning function (ticking every 2 seconds) when the battery is low and additional watch movements are necessary is also a perfect one.
Price: Watchsop website has the best price – even lower than the offer on Amazon, and RRP of 450 is indicated correctly (see Seiko UK website for RRP) which is not the case in the offers of Amazon.
Conclusion: brilliant nice looking watch, price is good especially considering what you are getting (Seiko kinetic with perpetual calendar and all functions), prompt and as promised service from Watchshop. With a next buy of the watch I will stay with Watchsop.

With it's classic looks, this is a truly stylish watch. The kinetic system makes it a very low maintenance joy to use, and the clarity of the watch face makes it very easy to tell date and time, unlike some other more cluttered watches I've owned. The Seiko Premier was bought as a birthday present for me, and my wife couldn't have made a better choice.

Nice watch! Not to big, not to small, fairly light. Nice dressed watch, would not wear it with more sporty outfit or with rougher activities.

Excellent watch as expected. Nice leather strap with comfort opening. What does not show well on the product picture but is actually very nice is the fact that the watch has '3D' ring with hour numbering.

This is the second Sieko premier watch I've perched in the last few years. They speak for themselves really. I always get complements on it and it's a very reliable time piece.
