I already have a Rotary watch of similar design (square, Roman numerals, but in gold) and the leather straps don't last long, so I decided to try a watch with a metal bracelet in the hope that it won't cost so much to maintain.

I particularly like the design of this watch, with its classic, simple, modernist feel, and an alternating mirror\brushed pattern on the links that is continued on the case. The gunmetal blue hands are a nice touch, too. The crystal sits flush with the case, so there are no corners to get chipped.

It's very solid, somewhat heavier and bulkier than I was expecting, but not uncomfortable, and in spite of my slender wrists it's been adjusted well and fits nicely without looking too chunky on my arm. Far better than one of those things cluttered up with all kinds of extra dials.

The bracelet is nicely finished, with no sharp edges. The fastening snaps shut easily, and comes open by pinching two small catches, allowing you to slip the bracelet on and off your hand.

Even though it was bought as an everyday watch, it's easily smart enough to be worn as a dress watch as well.

My only concern is with the water resistance. Although it is marked as waterproof on the back, the winder mechanism doesn't have a lock\screw, which implies it's not properly swimproof after all. Not a problem per se as I wouldn't wear this in the pool anyway, but something to be aware of.

All in all, a very handsome timepiece and excellent value for money.

Nice silver finish .I Thought for the price I paid it would be a smaller watch but when it arrived it was a nice suprise, a real chunky mans watch this will make a great brthday pressie.

Excellent classy looking watch. Not too heavy, expensive looking. Keeps really good time. Have had several comments made saying how expensive it looks. Feels good on the wrist, really nice to wear. Definately recommended.
