I got this watch for my birthday from my girlfriend and I've had it for a few weeks so far. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite watches ever. I have several watches however none of them has nearly the amount of compliments that Nixon 51-30 PU has. I do kitesurfing professionally and my personal style is somewhat laid back/casual/sporty.
As far as the watch goes, it is weighty and the size is quite big but it feels extremely comfortable on my wrist. Even while doing kitesurfing or any water sport in general. In addition, I am a big fan of contrast, so I really like the white face on the black strap. The white dial color on this watch really makes it stand out. Its 300 meter stainless steel construction feels really solid as well.
Another feature of Nixon The 51-30 PU watch is an easy to read tide sub dial on the face. Fast adjust button makes setting of tide super easy. It makes my daily job easy as well!!
As for the band, I like its patented locking looper which helps avoiding to loose the watch in the water.
It's definitely a good quality, fun and durable watch. I get compliments about it practically every day since I got it. If you are looking for a smart, survivable and affordable watch, Nixon 51-30 PU is the watch for you.
