This is not my first Mondaine watch - a friend of mine is a professional entertainer and I noticed he had one - because he said when I am performing live I can read instantly without obviously looking how long I have been on stage. This of course is one of the great features of the watch its distinctive no fuss design tells the time with outstanding clarity and its timeless good looks will never date (although that is an option on some models) I bought one for those reasons and it continues to serve me well but when I saw, whilst browsing on the internet, the recently introduced Simply Elegant white dial model with its handsome textured stainless steel bracelet and new slimmer case (6mm) I could not resist and ordered one straight away. Its wider too (36mm) than my previous model and presents an even more handsome face to myself and the world at large. Another notable design refinement is the hands winder which boasts a red enameled letter M to compliment the iconic seconds hand.
There is nothing negative to say about this classic watch it tells me the one thing I want to know whenever I need to know it although sometimes I look at it for the sheer pleasure of admiring this unique example of the watchmakers craft.Unreservedly recommended.

As elegant a watch as the advertising. The design is first class, a truely timeless piece. Every time I view the watch its a little thrilling.
