I bought this as a present for my boyfriend and it has gone down really well. I chose it because its quirky and noticeable but smart enough to wear to work. In terms of quality, the watch face and leather strap look well made. For the price, this is one of the best watches on the market.

Bought the mens evo watch for my husband for Christmas - bit of a risk but he really likes it. It's comfortable to wear, and easy to read!
We like the simple mondaine style and it works as well on the watch as it does on a wall clock. Delighted - and the service was good too. I ordered it the monday before Christmas and it arrived on the Wednesday.

This watch is great - it looks amazing and can be used for either smart business or casual wear. The white face with the red second hand is really distinctive and I've had more than a couple of positive comments about it.

The only negative thing I could say about it is that the strap feels slightly low quality.

This watch is just what I was looking for, my partner LOVES it!!
It's a certain fact that the pictures do not do it justice. For a mans watch it is so elegant with a striking bold design, brilliant for casual or smart. I was very surprised how lightweight this watch is my partner tells me it is very comfortable to wear unlike his previous watches that would make wearing long sleeved shirts uncomfortable the Evo is a slim design that doesn't get in the way of clothing (another added bonus!) the face is easy to read with it's red & black bold hands. The date also on this watch is lovley & great that it gives you the day also. The only slight downfall (& I'm clutching at straws when I say this) is the quality of the strap, it is leather & hopefully will be hard wearing but compared to the elegance of this modle it looks a tad cheap for the money paid. To summarise overall this is a stylish & quirky time piece I would recommend to anyone who is a watch fan!!!

The watch has a very clear dial and the second hand is easy to follow. The face is large, but not too big for my wrist and the broad strap enables it to stay in place comfortably. The day and date are also easy to read, although the numeral 1 in numbers 10-19 is a little to near the bar dividing the date from the day. An elegant, clean design.

I have been looking for this watch for six years. I found it within two minutes on this website.

The watch has a lovely design. It is made to a simple style but work to the high standard that one would expect. The watch came to the correct time on delivery which is what you want.

Additional there is a part that tell the date/day including when we're in sun or moon light hour, giving you that 24 hours on a 12 hours clock.

I highly recommend this design watch. It looks great with my suit and my work in government.

Exactly what I needed since age has done the usual with less than perfect vision.Once again iI can tell the time perfectly without the need to peer Apart from being the perfect answer to sight issues its an attractive and great watch. The Swiss railway have "come up trumps"

Just what the doctor ordered ... or in this case, a retired broadcaster who would like to think he appreciates tradition, elegance and style.

Many times during a busy career, I would find myself on a Swiss railway platform admiring the clocks designed by one of their engineers Hans Hilfiker as far back as 1944. To watch that unique red seconds hand sweep round the dial with such grace was a joy to behold ... so too, the punctuality that was - and still is - a defining feature of the Swiss Railways network.

Now, as I enter retirement, I can have the same iconic design classic on my left arm, a real railway clock in miniature
and a timely reminder that I too must be punctual for all of life's activities.

And just to cap it all, I came across Watch Shop on the web ... promising that they too, would get my timepiece in my hands within 24 hours. They were as good as their word. A loud knock on the door had me clambering quickly out of bed to find the postman holding a timely arrival from Reading.

On opening the attractive box, there it was - ticking away exactly to the second and true to the classic design created nearly 70 years ago. Ingenuity and simplicity are enduring values and I look forward to a lifetime of pleasure with this real little gem on my arm.

I got this watch as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. He loved it. Very simple and straightforward watch, but the red second hand gives it a nice touch. It looks classy and solid. This 38mm dial is also a good size, big enough to be 'masculine' but not as enormous as some of the others in the Mondaine range.

This is a great watch. Easy to read white face with black hands that has a cool simple style. The red second hand makes it easy to distinguish at a glance. One review I read said the strap looked cheap but I think it looks and feels good. This one has the day and date, but I think one with just the date would be OK. Overall an excellent, classy, stylish watch that is not too expensive
