VERIFIED WATCHSHOP BUYER (PURCHASED: MON 27TH FEB 2012)
I received the latest version of this watch (check out J&T Windmills website): white dial with no minute markings, date at 3 oclock position and glass window on back of case showing mechanism. The deployment clasp is a bit fiddly and I need to get used to the knack of securing it.
I wanted a classic dress watch for work and formal occasions with a unique look and this beautiful timepiece has exceeded all my expectations. I love the clean "pocket watch" aesthetic and the need to wind it each day (you can hear it ticking when you hold it to your ear). It appeals to my appreciation of traditional mechanical craftsmanship in a world of smartphones and tablets.
Although I will have to rely on my mobile for more precise timings this watch is much more pleasing to glance at on the go. I envisage this heirloom quality Made in England timepiece being a constant companion for many years to come.

VERIFIED WATCHSHOP BUYER (PURCHASED: MON 1ST NOV 2010)
I bought this watch as a 40th Birthday present for my brother. It is an elegant & classy watch, the face is fantastically simple, the finish of the metal work looks & is very high quality. It also has a highly original & unique clasp on the strap. It also comes in a surpringly good quality presentation box. Overall, I was very pleased with my purchase & for me, it was well worth the money. In fact, I thought this watch was so good, my brother almost didn't get it!
