This is a watch Ive had my beady eyes on for several years since I was bitten by the watch bug. Now finally having one in my hands is exciting and this glycine combat sub has been worth the wait. Its a very slimline watch and for a 42mm wears good. Not too big or small for my7.5 wrist. The lovely 200 metre water resistant case has wrist hugging lugs and a large &solid feeling crown that screws down beautifully. The orange outer track and hands on the dial looks superb with the rest of the dial being finely printed. The bezel action is also good with minimal backplay. The strap is soft rubber with that vanilla smell to it and is a quality item and has a signed tang buckle. In all these are a bit of a bargain.Still using ETA`s 2824/2 auto movement is a plus as other brands are having to source other movements now. Dont be daft and go buy a Tag quartz for hundreds more than this. Glycine is a historical swiss brand still at good prices. Enough said!

Had been looking for a dive watch for some time and viewed a number of online reviews before opting for the Glycine. It has a v clear and easy to read dial with the orange highlights being a nice touch. It has a 2824 Swiss movement with a sapphire crystal . The bezel has a reassuring positive click to it with no play and it lines up perfectly with the 12 oclock position. It wears v comfortably as its a thin case for a dive watch with nicely curved and drilled lugs. I have no issue wearing it with a long sleeve shirt . Adding to comfort is the rubber strap which has a signed buckle and logo detail. For a 42 mm watch it wears v well even on my smaller 6.75 inch wrist as you can see from the photo . Overall an excellent watch with a high quality feel which is truly excellent value for money. Came in 2 days with all relevant documents and presentation case.

A late review here, I bought this watch over the Black Friday Weekend. Buying this watch over BFW I was able to purchase this watch for around £411 delivered, so in my mind I got a brilliant deal and I absolutely love this watch. \r\n\r\nWould I have paid £710 for this watch? Yes, I think I would, but again I was lucky to get it at such a great price and Ive never spent above £500 pounds on a watch before.\r\n\r\nWhen you unbox this watch its one of those Wow moment for sure. Its very very clean and tidy, and very comfy to wear. I always make an effort to wear all my watches by selecting a watch to wear for the following week at the start of every weekend, but I keep getting drawn back to the Glycine. I often catch people looking at it and have had some really nice comments about it over the past couple of months.\r\n\r\nAs a watch, it does it job and looks bloody good doing it.\r\n\r\nHighly recommended.
