Wanted a watch for a gift for my mate and it fitted requirements down to the ground. Easy read dial that you can read at a glance even in the dark. Case is just the right size not to big and with the canvas strap hardly know its on. Very smart watch and my mate was well pleased with it.

Excellent - clear classic easy to read face, non battery dependent, and looks very robust. No uneccessary dials or other confusion on the face. Easy to read in the dark But, like most watches, the strap is ridiculously short.

I have a number of watches in my collection ranging in value from £50 to £900 including a kinetic and automatic. I bought this Citizen after a good deal of research - which is part of the fun - before deciding. For the money this watch represents excellent value. The case is well made with the 'glass' having a slightly bevelled edge where it sits in the ring. The face is nice and clear too with the bold numerals and hands which are easily visible in poor or no light. It also proves to be an excellent timekeeper. What is also impressive on a watch of this value, is the screw down crown to prevent ingress of water. Additionally, as with a kinetic watch and automatic, the water resistant integrity is maintained since the need for battery changes is eliminated. Initially, the strap was a little stiff and slightly tricky to adjust to my smallish wrist but is now ok. I would definitely recommend this watch to another buyer.

The service was excellent, I ordered my watch on Tuesday late morning, and received it the next day at 9.15 a.m.
The watch looks even better than the image on the computer and am delighted with it. It keeps excellent time as well. I will certainly buy from watch Shop again and recommend it to my friends.

An attractive, chunky watch with a classic face that is easy to read in all light conditions. The Eco-drive should prove to be a real bonus as it means that I shall never have to open the case for battery replacement, thus ensuring that the seal retains it's integrity. The hole spacing on the strap is too wide for fine adjustment and the date window is too small for my aging eyes to read easily, but I never need to know the date in a hurry! All in all a great looking watch that is ideal for camping trips, mountain walking and shallow scuba diving.

obviousely picked the watch for it's looks but luminus,i can even tell the time in the dark without my glasses on,add to that the fact it never needs a battery and it's waterproof it,s the best watch i've ever owned

This is a rugged looking watch with big clear numbers. It charges automatically from electric or sunlight so it never needs batteries.

Its water resistant to 200M so you can wear it swimming and it wont get damaged if you accidently get it wet.
I thnk it looks best with casual clothes but its smart enough to wear with a suit.

I bought this watch because I wanted to tell the time on the go, and it does that job excellently, with hands and everything. It has big numbers which glow in the dark too, and it is waterproof to 200 m, which is a pretty good combination of factors given that it's pretty dark when you're 200 m under water. It's also solar-powered, which is the coolest feature, as it's dead green and you never have to pay a jeweler to replace the battery. It's a great watch and looks very stylish at the end of my arm. joking aside, I would heartily recommend it to anyone who can't afford a more expensive one, like me. Buy one today!
