Mens Citizen Eco-Drive Excellent quality and aesthetics. Black metallic strap and black watch face. The clasp mechanism is a little fiddly to use but will get use to it. Overall excellent purchase and would use watchshop again!!

I ordered a citizen eco-drive, black faced and bracelet style watch for my husbands birthday. He was delighted with it, he has had one of these watches before albeit was a different style, but he wanted a change. Ordering was no problem and I didn't have to wait more that 3 days for delivery. They also tailored it to fit his wrist too. I must also say that ordering it on the Amazon website was cheaper than that of the Citizen site.

Very nice watch. Pros: Completely black, very stylish. Medium size, If you don't like big chronographs. Eco-Drive, no batteries needed. Cons (minor all of them): Lach to thick, better built on bracelet. Dials to bright, make it less sober. Calendar is not clear, could be easy to read.

I like the Eco-Drive principle and the general appearance of the black watch and bracelet. My only regret is that the watch is not fully waterproofed.
I found the sales service excellent but I missed the procedure for bracelet adjustment!

For many years I was on the lookout for 'my' watch - I had been through countless watch magazines and jewelers shops....I daresay that even the 15-grand rolex's didn't really tickle my fancy, but when I saw this citizen I was instantly taken by all its features - it had everything I had always wanted. Its curved rectangular face set it aside from similar models I had previously checked which have the more rigid square face that I think ruins its style, and also the bracelet blended in to the face completes its dressy style. As for the face itself, I particularly enjoy the angular steel beads that glitter beautifully in the sun, creating a lovely contrast to the black theme. I also feel that the simplicity of the face in particular, and the watch as a whole; not overdoing any of the features but still retaining the style, makes this watch, in my opinion, one of the most attractive mens watches on the market.
I think it is also worth mentioning that the glass cover over the face has been specially set in to make it lie flat (i.e. it doesn't bulge out at all), meaning that it is much harder to scratch it - something that can easily add a considerable amount of time to the life span of the watch and stop those irritating scratches disturbing your satisfaction while wearing it.

I’ve got a normal wrist – have you?

Have you noticed how most men’s watches are for giants? They look sensational, till you check out the size and find it’d be easier strapping a grandfather clock to your wrist.
When I told the girl in a watch shop that most stylish men’s watches were way too big for my normal sized wrist, she said I should try a women’s watch! Way to go! Really made me feel macho, that did. The way she put it, my choice was between wearing Big Ben, a women’s watch or a sundial out of the Ark like my granddad wears.

In despair, I scoured the web and quite by chance I stumbled across this absolute stunner from Citizen.

Eco drive, so replacement batteries are history. Stainless steel, so a great solid engineered feel to it. And the amazing black ion plated case and bracelet make this Citizen stand out from the crowd. You wouldn’t believe the admiring comments I’ve had, from complete strangers, blokes and girls alike.

And best of all, it looks fantastic on my normal sized wrist. An uber-stylish watch made for normal guys, not giants. Check out the picture and see what you think – but don’t all buy one, I don’t want to become one of the crowd!

A present to myself! Great looking watch and no battery change needed so no chance of a helpful shop assistant stripping the thread on the battery clip (I have been there). Pity it is not waterproof - so I had to buy another watch for day time! The pricematch clinched the sale.
