VERIFIED WATCHSHOP BUYER (PURCHASED: SUN 1ST JAN 2012)
liked what i saw, not to big and is comfy to wear the date is too small to see easy and the glass is slightly curved so catches reflections too much but i still like it ,am replacing an old seiko sport 100, unreparable but so clear and bright if only they could fix it..time will tell on the eco drive: good shoping..

I bought this as a gift for my son who used it on his recent PADI course. He was delighted with the watch, says it fits well, not too large and serves the purpose well for diving. The illuminated face works well and the solar feature is great.
I bought the one with the red markings on the face but on reflection I think the plain one looks nicer if being used for general use

A nice functional watch. The face is on the small side and the date is hard to read. Having said that it's strong, robust and looks good. I got it for gym work and swimming and its ideal. It's a good watch for the money - does exactly what it says on the tin!

Watch is better than I thought it would be for the price.
Looks great and has a high visual impact on your wrist and is just right as it is neither heavy or lightweight.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday and he was delighted with it. It's smart enough to wear to work, but robust enough to cope with gardening, and diving. This watch is so clear to read and easy to use. Not only is it smart to look at, it's really functional. A one way bezel means when you can use it as a back up for diving and you don't miss any deco stops. He's been diving to 55m so far, and it didn't leak or steam up. He said that he'd recommend this watch to anyone who asked!

I always wanted a classic dive watch and this fits the bill. Citizen are a well regarded brand and the eco drive system meant it was battery free.
The date could be a little bigger but that is all I would change on the mode.It sits nicely on my wrist without appearing too bulky.
I saw the watch cheaper elsewhere but Watchshop subsequently beat that price.

A very smart watch for the money. Solid and classy. Compares well with similar more expensive dive watches for reliability and build quality. Worth checking out.

A classic divers watch that oozes quality even before you put on. A very solid and authentic . Excellent comfortable strap again very high quality.
My only niggle is the size of the date display (too small to read at a glance). Other than that a fine watch that looks and feels much more expensive that it is. If you are looking for an attractive quality divers watch at a bargain price do consider the Citizen BN0001-01L.

I sail with this watch and its taken some knocks. You can use the bezel to set a yacht race countdown. You just count five batons into the red or the blue when the first signal goes up Really simple.
But above all the designer has given a lot of thought, and it shows. Big bright colours that are really good to have on you without being brash and flashy. You can tell its got class. I feel incorrectly dressed without it, like theres a bit of you missing
