My watch is identical but has a sapphire glass. Ive had this watch for 4 years and it is my favourite. It looks great on my wrist.
The one problem is the leather band. It only just fits my 21.5 cm wrist, but should be big enough for the majority of men. Worse, however, is that the inside leather deteriorates, probably due to perspiration and Ive just had it replaced at a cost of £32. All Citizen leather bands develop the same fault it seems, for my sons have similar problem with their Citizen watches. Note that the band is not covered by your 5 year guarantee.
That apart, the band is simple to adjust and looks fine.

I chose this watch because of the price,and it came with perpetual calendar as well.What I dont like I think it takes too much time to set the year month and date unless my watch is not working properly. Nice leather band the style is simple but it works,and it only needs to be set once. I do love this watch but it seems like I got a bad one because Im gona have to send it off to citizen to look at. Cant get the date section to work.

Looks better than in the picture and comes nicely presented in the box. Im also very pleased with the service from the watchshop, fast and reliable.I always want to have a watch like this with calendar and a nice view for date

Having look at loads of different watches with similar styles I settled on this one (black), on the wrist it looks so much better than the picture on the web site. It looks really smart whether you are wearing a suit or casual, I dont need to put my glasses on to see the date.
It took a couple of hours of sunlight to get it going and I used the video instructions supplied to set the date (the instruction book needs reviewing and there are no instructions for the strap).

Bought this watch as a surprise birthday gift for my husband who has never worn a watch. Decided it was about time he wore one and chose this for its classy and stylish looks. He was over the moon, looks even better on and is a very classy expensive looking watch. Date is very clear and likes the Eco-Drive aspect. Thought the clasp may be tricky but once worked out what to do it can be on in a second and easier than other fastenings. All in all a fabulous watch and would buy it again in a second!

Wasn't 100% sure when I ordered the watch that it would suit me, as it looked rather big and bulky.

However, on arrival this morning (after only ordering it at 3:00pm the previous afternoon), it looks and feels just the part. A classy and well made watch without being to "OTT".

It came ready to go with the date already set (which, according to reviews can be a bit of a nightmare)and after about 10 minutes out of the packaging, the watch came to life thanks to the eco-drive techonology stuff.

The only initial downside is that the strao, clasp combination proved to be a bit fiddly at first, but once I figured out how that works, there's been no issues at all.

Oh yes, and first class service from the watchshop.com. Ordered at 3:00pm on the Friday, on my wrist at 8:30am on the Saturday.

I bought this watch for my partner who is mad about watches, and is quite particular about what he likes. What appealed to him, apart from the simple classical design is that it displays the date nice and clearly and that it also has a perpetual calendar. All in all, it is a lovely watch at a very reasonable price.

ive bought wach 2 years ago. wacht has been dispached in couple of days after i have ordered it. good service i think.

but the wach had been already 3 times in service. im dissapointed by this product. hope after last repair it will work for longer than few weeks.

The watch does exactly what I wanted; is has a perpetual calendar and does not need batteries or winding. Additionally, I can see the large face and hands, and the date, without using my reading specs. The style is modern without being too ostentatious. Altogether, I'm very pleased with the watch.

This is an excellent watch, very comfortable and stylish. The display is very clear with and excellent date display. The strap is a little unusual in how it fastens but it is secure, can be easily and quickly handled and comfortable with a great soft leather finish. The great thing about this watch is its classic simplicity and quality. It works great as everyday and dress watch and it is not thick and chunky like many alternatives are meaning that its comfortable to wear with long-sleeve items.



The Eco-Drive system is excellent too. I have left it in a cupboard for weeks and it still holds its charge and time. I don't really have any complaints about this watch, I just wish my job would allow me too wear it without risk of smashing it off something!!

Wow!

Firstly, I must say what fantastic service from Watch shop. I ordered this Friday morning and by 10:00am the next day, I was wearing it!

Now the watch itself. A beautiful watch which is understated, but the quality and engineering shine through (for me it's the Audi of the watch world,everyone can see it is quality but it sees no need in showing of). The calander is automatic and will be correct forever, including leap years and came already set. The leather strap has a clasp not a standard leather strap, but it can be adjusted in seconds which is great because in the summer I find I need to adjust the size, something a metal strap will not allow me to do, and to top it all off, it never needs a battery. You may have realised that I am very very happy with this watch and would recomend to all.

This is the only non-mechanical watch that I own.The standard of workmanship appears very high and the watch looks as if it should have a zero after the price I paid.



The service supplied by the Watchshop was exemplary.The watch arrived the next day as promised and the receipt supplied even gave details of where to find the setting instructions etc on the Citizen website.



Overall an extremely pleasant shopping experience.

Very good service - ordered the watch on a thursday and it was delivered by C.O.B Friday. After being disappointed by a chinese movement Sekonda from watchshop, the Citizen 310 is a very good watch....did like it from the word go and i would reccommend it to any one interested in owning a quality solid watch. The belt mechanism is too complicated and Citizen is better advised to go for simplicity in future!

This watch is absolutely superb. It exudes quality and carries out the functions described in the literature in an exemplary manner. Although the watch looks chunky, it is in fact quite light on the wrist. Having set the watch to the correct date and time, upon receipt, the watch appears to be keeping very accurate time.

The watch strap is a bit quirky, as you have to set up the leather strap and metal clasp before you actually wear the watch as the clasp secures the watch strap via a multi link mechanism. I have a small wrist and the strap is close to maximum extension, so this should be a consideration at the time of purchase. This is a watch for all occasions and shows the quality of manufacture.
