I like this watch. The face is clear and it has just the right level of functionality for me. It charged to full within a day and has consistently d using the radio even when placed in the centre of the house.

The watch is excellent, both analogue and digital, with wave ceptor control. The face is clear and extremely readable, with a easy fitting steel bracelet. The communication with this company is second to none, and if required would use again, but definitely recommend to others.

A very good watch!! I have never had a solar powered or radio controlled watch before!!
I set it up very easily, until!!! As one does, I played around with the buttons etc and then found the analogue out of sync with the digital. It also failed to via radio control!!
Not the fault of the watch, just the fault of a 62year old man playing with the watch and not reading the manual properly!
The watch looks great,even on my elderly wrist and works perfectly.
One thing I should mention.
Make sure you use the free wrist band adjustment. It was some time before I could put it on my wrist ;-)
As I said it is a very good and very functional watch. The first Casio I have owned and am sure it will not be the last.

The watch looks even better than it did on the web page!
The first thing I noticed, however, was how light it was compared to my old Pulsar watch. This is probably because of the half metal/half composite body, which I wasn't sure about at first, but actually it looks good and is much more commfortable to wear. The Casio is over a third lighter than my old watch, and, yes, I was that surprised by the difference that I did weigh the watches!

Very pleased with this watch, easy to set-up initially (time set by radio signal). Face and digital display are both easy to read (unless the hands are covering the display). The watch feels well-built and is comfortable to wear.

The watch was exactly as expected. Packaging was nice, watch well presented and already set up and ready to go. Smart looking and great value.

My 3rd wave ceptor. Perfect for business life which involves lots of long haul travel. Love the "No maintainance" solar power and auto time-corrections. Even when in a part of the world where I cannot pick up the signal, the time keeping is so accurate you hardly notice.
Adjusted the watch strap myself (never sure what size to say:-)...not too difficult to change the size took 10 mins and there are lots of "how to" on the web but if your not confident ask Watchsop to do it for you before delivery.

A lovely watch - well made, good to look at and feels much more expensive than it is. The combination of analogue and digital features is a real winner without making operation over-complicated - I especially like the radio-controlled timekeeping (came in very handy on New Years Eve!) and the solar power cell means no more batteries! - highly recommended.

I bought this watch having been really happy with a waveceptor previously bought in the USA 5yrs ago. I really like the Casio. Very light. Good display.very reliable. Great value. Looks more expensive than it cost I think. Esp like the auto time correction function. Good when travelling in Europe. Not sure if it will auto adjust in the USA. Wrist strap very good it has never accidently opened

Really pleased with the watch. It does everything it says on the tin but I would have liked the hands to be more visable in poor light. I used the strap altering option and wish I had not been so precise with the measurement. Measure your wrist and allow a little extra for comfort or if your old watch fitted perfectly use that measurement. I wonder if a blue face might have been better but now I'm nitpicking.

Outstanding watch for its price, I saved over £30 quid by buying it from watchshop Business class watch, excellent performance, very helpful customer service as I asked on how to resize it. Very happy with the product; as usual from Casio & glad to have it.

Got this watch yesterday and i have to say over the moon with it. I looked at watches for a few weeks before deciding on this one . It looks great has lots of functions and is a great price on here. Was £30 more in a high street shop !

very happy with this watch the black face is classy and the bracelet is good quality. As soon as i took it out of the box and set the timezone it sprang to life corrected itself and has been perfect ever since all in all very happy and exactly what i was looking for.

Had Casio Waveceptor before and wanted a new watch, got my eye on this one for a few months and decided to go for it. Love the looks, timekeeping accuracy, alarms, water resistance. Only slight negative, is the light grey plastic strips between the first 2 links on the strap, my old waveceptor only had plastic showing on the rear case so unsure why this has. I still really like it though and hope for mant years use.

A great watch sent within 7 days to Spain. The watch works really well and clearly marked, I like the swept second hand in particular, but the only drawback is that the illumination only shows the small digital screen, as in the previous model I have ( WVA-105H ) shows the entire face of the watch, which makes seeing the the time a lot clearer

The Casio wave-ceptor chronograph watch in a stainless steel case and with stainless steel bracelet arrived at lunch-time the day after ordering - brilliant! The bracelet had been adjusted to my requirements (with removed links included in box). It fitted my wrist perfectly and looked better than I had expected. The only setting up I had to do was to enter the preferred time-signal transmitter (AT) and my nearest location (LON) to ensure correct time setting. This was easy using the manual provided. I had a play with manual time-setting to check that it worked OK and I found the instructions very easy. I was also very pleased to note that, although the second hand raced round to 12 o-clock (as it was supposed to do during time calibration) the watch continued to tell the current time with the other hands. It was comforting to see that the signal strength (in Cheshire) was excellent and it didn't require me to keep the watch dead still. It also only took about 30 secs to set the time, even though the instructions warn that it could take up to 15 mins. The watch has 3 settable alarms and,although they are OK in the quiet of the night, they are barely audible during the day. The stop-watch/countdown timer was very intuitive and I didn't need to read the instructions for this.
I've only just got the watch but, so far, I'm absolutely delighted with it.

Excellent watch. Bought for husbands christmas. Looks a lot more expensive than it actually is. Also looks like it will be a heavy watch to wear but its really lightweight.

Very nifty because its radio controlled so no fiddling about with buttons to set the time. Its also solar powered.

He loves it.

Excellent delivery, good general look & feel, but mortified to find part of the case was visibly a light grey "plastic" & not as described online as being Stainless Steel !, a more correct description would be Plastic/Stainless. Since the description does not match the actual goods sold, I will be contacting the WatchShop to make my point. The instruction book looks impressive, may take a few days to get through. Overall average, let down by not being accurately described on the website !.

This is a fantastic solar powered watch or timepiece from casio. With more products like this one, the company will be able to rival or even beat competitors like citizen and swatch, most especially citizen because of their eco-drive solar powered watches.

For its price this watch has many features you will want in a watch and it is built to last. These features include

---- solar powered, no need to change batteries. The watch can conserve its solar power for 5 months after a full charge in the sun by turning off some functions in the watch.

---- Autocalendar display. The day , date and month has been preset till 2099 and therefore you don't need to make adjustments for leap years or short 30 day months like I do for my swatch watch.

---- it tells the time in over 25 cities worldwide.

---- it has 3 alarms and can alert you twice hourly.

---- it recieves time calibration radio signals 5 times a day from 2 transmitters in europe. One in germany and the other in UK depending on your settings of the watch.

These features above are the reason I bought this watch. It is water resistant to a 100 metres and has a stainless steel bracelet and 4 buttons on the sides of its face, 2 on each side for accessing the functions of the watch. It also has a LED display which glows fairly in the dark.

Its got a second hand along with the minute and hour hands.

The bracelet is a bit too loose on my wrist and i am considering adjusting it again despite the adjustment by watchshop. Its my fault really cos i didn't measure my wrist properly when i ordered it. Better a bit loose than too tight. There is also a manual which is translated into 5 languages and prints are small , though legible enough to read.

I've had this watch since 1.5 year and still look like a new.

I’m very happy with this choice.

Positive:

Always correct time indicated and I never worry about flat battery cos the solar power work perfect even without spending time on the sun battery is always full.

Negative:

When fly to the different time zone watch don’t changing automatically settings of hour even after resetting over night, we have remember to do it.

Its good watch for the value, use to for a little beat leas.

Amazing watch for the price, especially with the current offer of 10% off. Thanks WatchShop for adjusing the strap but I found I still needed to take out an extra link. This is a complicated watch to get to know, so spend a couple of hours reading the manual and playing with it. I bought my first Wave Ceptor in 2003 and it looks a bit knackered now but it's still working! This new watch has a lovely clear face and a sweep second hand, which the old one didn't have. This is the second watch I've bought from WatchShop in the last year and the service was, once again, excellent; ordered yesterday afternoon and it arrived at 10am today. Highly recommended!

I bought this as a replacement for my last watch, (a Cheapie), which served me well for nineteen years so you can see that I don't buy them too often.

I had in mind exactly what I wanted from a watch and this one seemed to tick all the boxes.

Good Points:

I consider it to be a good looking watch with a clear, attractive, easily read face. The glass appears to be hard wearing and crystal clear. It is accurate to the second, should never need a battery replacement and has numerous practical features. The battery is recharged by Solar power but can apparently continue to run for five months without exposure to the light. All you have to do is put it on your wrist or take it off, the rest is taken care of, just what I was looking for.

Not so good Points:

The manual is far too small to read easily. It can be downloaded but this might be a problem for someone without Internet access. Some of the instructions on initial set up are hard to understand, (and it's not an age thing, two teenage sons found it puzzling). Despite sending my wrist measurements, the strap was still too big. I had a link removed locally, (cost me £6.00). The actual spring clip adjustment on the strap is minute, just two sets of holes.

That said, the "Good" far outweigh the "Not so Good" and I would have no hesitation in recomending this watch to others. I consider it to be excellent value for money and I look forward to enjoying it for the next nineteen years.

I've had this watch for a couple of months, and very happy with it. The face is easily readable, with good contrast - not quite as good as a diver's watch, but still OK for people like me who can't be bothered to put their reading glasses on. The waveceptor bit works well, it syncs overnight, coped OK with the clocks going forward. Very handy knowing the time and date are always right without having to wind on at the end of the month etc. Stopwatch etc are digital functions, OK if a bit fiddly. Really it's a watch with digital inards and analogue time display. Bracelet needs a special tool to adjust, but Watchshop refunded the £5 (as advertised) to have it adjusted, so that was OK. Only adverse comment really is that though the front and back are steel, the main part of the case is grey plastic. It keeps it light I suppose, and I didn't even notice to start with, but maybe not everybody's cup of tea. The watch description ought to make this clear. But overall, good value and very happy with it.

I bought this for my husband for a birthday present and he is absolutely thrilled. The design is superb and he says it is the most comfortable watch he has ever had. I couldn't find exactly what size his wrist was but he managed to adjust it himself without difficulty. For the price it is excellent value, looks stylish and is accurate to the nanosecond. Every time he hears the hourly pips on the radio he checks his watch! All in all a great success.

Probably this is the most exact watch in the world. It looks very good, much expensive than it is. The dial is grey-blue. It is working faultless. I put the radio control function on manual. It is a little bit hard to play with and you have to have 2 days patience to read the instructions. It is robust not like the Citizens Eco-drive that broke in 3 months. The watch is plastic which makes it light but it is covered by stainless steel. Watch shop was fast with delivery. I recommend this watch for an active person who's travelling a lot around the world and needs to know local time instantly. Hard to change the time manually, though.

AS SENT TO CASIO. EXCELLENT WATCH, GREAT BEING RADIO CONTROLED, WITH THE SOLA BATTEREY BEING THE ICEING ON THE CAKE. THE MANUAL IS LESS THAN POOR, WITH ONE WANTING 200/200 VISION TO GET AROUND IT. PREVIOUS BLOGS CAME UP WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. DON'T LOSE SELLING A GREAT WATCH BECAUSE OF THE MANUAL!

Solar powered Waveceptor technology is fantastic. Wear it outdoors and you will have a fanstastic timepiece that is utterly reliable and 100% accurate with no more worries............ever.

This model worked straight from the box. set London as the time zone and that's it. Steel bracelet looks purposeful and is very well finished for a watch of this price. One very minor quibble; the luminous dials are difficult to see in the dark.....but this is the only fault.
