I bought this watch as I wanted something that was rugged enough to withstand the outdoor environment but also looked smart enough to wear out for dinner.
The comfort and fit is excellent. The face is not too bulky and the strap fits likes a glove. The texture of the metal and rubber is great and looks good too.
The quality is great but so it should be for this kind of money. The clasp is solid on the well designed strap and the face is rugged and built to last but still looks great unlike some of the other G-Shocks.
The face is easy to read and well designed. There is a lot of background information written on the face but this is not a bad point, it helps the owner when using the other features. Like I said, it is easy to read and looks great with the mixture of colours. Black background with white symbols and a touch of red.
There is only one negative point to this watch. The instruction manual is not very well written and it took me a good hour or so to work out how to use all the features. Once I managed to figure out the features they are not difficult to use, just tricky to learn. i.e. The diagrams are poor in the booklet.
Overall this is a superb watch. I love the fact I can wear it every day but also dress it up it needed. The quality is great and the robustness, well its a G-shock. I would recommend this watch or a similar MT-G design for those looking for a smart but solid watch.
