Hours received in time! What is surprising for Russia :) nice to get the original Casio! Clock work yourself .. :) reliable and easy to manage. Hours - a good helper in the business, working for the result! And the result - to be exactly at the appointed time!

Im happy with the watch, but I first got a faulty piece, it stopped making any sounds after some weeks. I returned the watch, and after some time got a new one. Watch Shop service was excellent.

At first I was very very happy with this watch as it was every bit as good as I expected However today I see already the glass is steaming up meaning the seal has already gone after 2 months now i have to send it off for a minimum of 10 days for a repair

The Mudman g-9000-3VER is the perfect entry level utility G-Shock.
I have a number of what I would describe as fashion G-Shocks of all colours and sizes but needed one that I wouldnt mind getting scratched and battered so picked up this watch.
It is lighter than most modern Gs and is a little smaller than I anticipated but is very comfortable to wear.
If you need a good workhorse G-Shock that will last a long time, you wont go far wrong with one of these.

The watch is perfect and surpasses next to all others. It has everything necessary in it such as: timer, stopwatch, exact date, day and time. It also has a few extra useful tools such as world time, dual stopwatch and dual LED. Only bad thing about the watch is that it's not solar powered not necessary but reduces servicing. The description of the watch is true some advertise watches to be waterproof when they're not; this is the only watch I haven't been afraid to bathe in. The buttons are a little stiff but using them is incredibly simple once you read the manual you never forget.

I Ibought this watch my third Casio ,as sadly the cost of a new strap and battery worked out to be only £14 different from a newer better model
Amazing it arrived in its own elegant tin box and looked cool .The double toothed stap means that air circulates under the strap better and avoids the "sweaty" wrist
Eay to programme and the display is clear to read except perhaps for the little window on the right side I still have not checked what i9t is for .. All in all much better than I expected as it is not listed as one of the "top end" Casio I hope it is as reliable as the previous 2 as they coped with cow dung and the heat and dust of Kenyas Masai Mara and the heavy rains of the rainy season as well as Englands Ice and snow

Just as I expected. Only the display darker than I assumed, but then I noticed I have to tilt the face a bit. Very robust. I expect it to last rest of my life. I'm carrying a Casio Skywalker DW-4000 - since 1990.

i was looking for a heavy duty watch to withstand the rigors of my job.this watch is black plastic with plenty of holes on the strap to ensure a comfortable fit, 2 pin fastening for extra strengh. lightweight and very sylish. the casing surrounding the face is thick and durable even so i tend to foget im wearing it.the buttons are very easy to understand and you cant knock them by accident to change the mode. the light on it illuminates all the digits makin it easy to read. it has many features ie alarm, timer stopwatch which are all easy to use.

The watch is even better than I expected! The colour is dark olive green, very nice matte finish. One of the best features is you can toggle on a mode where when you tilt the watch up to your face it automatically illuminates. Alternatively you can set it so you press a large button below the watch face. Strap is very adjustable for virtually any size wrist and for wearing higher up the arm while wearing gloves. You set your time zone along with your time/date. If you change zones you can set it to the new zone you're in and it'll adjust the time accordingly! Seems very solid and more comfortable than my old Vostok. It looks like battery changes can be done yourself via screws holding the sealed plate on the back. I'd give it a 10 out of 10, couldn't be happier!

Great buy, very solid and exactly what I was looking for. Easy to navigate the various features with a clear display, even in dim light without the back light.
Would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to buy a watch of this type.

Great watch,light on the wrist and sits nice.
I also think it looks good in green rather than just plain old black.Its took quite a pounding so far and stood up well. My only complaint would be that the alarm is not very loud and as yet has failed to wake me up, but i guess that's what alarm clocks are for. Would definitely recommend.

I was searching for watch that will stand quite harsh conditions. I mean water, mud, sand and scratches. So when I have heard about casio mudman I thought that it is the right one to buy.
But lets say what I like the most about this watch:
- colour, it match my clothes and looks great with uniform
- size, I thought it would be much bigger, but it is just the right size, my airsoft replica will not harm it
- weight and the way it lie on the hand
And the only thing that is not so good
- very stiff buttons (but I have heard that they will be much easier to push with time).

I am more than happy with this purchase and I will strongly recommend this watch to my friends.

this is a very good watch for work very robust and does what its meant to. it is a very tough watch. It is very good in dusty environments for example I use it when I work on the farm. This is a good buy and I would tell everyone g shock is the way forward.

Another great purchase experience from watch shop.

First impressions of this watch are great very comfortable on the wrist nicely proportioned and light. Easy set up but buttons a bit stiff as someone else mentioned.

The display is good fun and easy to read. Pleanty of features such as stopwatch and minute count down timer.

If its anything like my last G-Shock durability wont be an issue.

Double pins on the strap look secure.

Overall I think very good value and very pleased with the watch.

This is my first G-shock and its the Mens Casio G-Shock Mudman Chronograph Watch G-9000-3VER and its just as great as i thought it would be. Ive been using the gym recently and wear it in the steam room, pool and sauna and it has no affect on the watch. i love the size of it its like a real mans watch and its just the coolest watch ive ever owned it looks great, works amazingly ands tough as nails buy one you will love it.

first impresstions of this watch are amazing the way it looks just screams out its ruggedness. it is easy to use and setup except for a minor drawback which is the buttons are extremely stiff but over time they should loosen off.

With a need for a new watch and upcoming military training I knew I needed something robust. In searching online I found several supposed 'heavy duty' watches, but when I first set eyes on the Mudman and read the product description I knew I was on to something. I was particularly drawn to the mud, scratch, water and seemingly bomb proof specification. It proved to be an easy choice and when I received the watch the following day I knew it was a good decision, apart from anything else the olive green colour really gives it that military look and feel. I was particularly impressed to read in the small print that the "watch has been developed for full heavy duty use". So often, so called 'heavy duty' products come with small print saying something like 'not to be used outdoors'! Not the Mudman.



I have only had the watch for a few weeks, but already it has survived muddy circuit training and swimming sessions. I am confident that this watch will be able to go the distance and my forthcoming military training regime should provide a substantial test.



I can whole heartedly recommend the Mudman to anyone wanting a serious watch for demanding situations that doesn’t cost the Earth.

This is a great watch. Strong, solid design. Not had chance to test it fully but very confident it will withstand anything I can throw at it. The buttons are a little hard to press though but that's to be expected with what they have to cope with.

Very nice product, very attractive when you see it personally bot in the internet. Has a very clear screen and very stylish.



The only downside are the buttons. They are quite hard to press for the first time, but you'll get used to it. All in all very durable.



I also knew that this is low temperature resistant up to -20C.



The service is also very good.



I highly recommend it.

The only criticism I have is that it would be better if the screws and buckle were black rather than shiny silver. I would then consider the watch more suitable for tactical/military environments. Other than that it is a quality product that I am proud to wear and would highly recommend.

This watch is brilliant, does exactly what it says on the tin! I bought the watch as i am in the marines and needed a robust watch that wouldn't break in the rain or mud. It is a brilliant watch and would recommend it to anyone in the forces!

First opinion of this watch straight out of the box is that it just looks solid.



It is very user friendly to do all the basics if you have had a digital watch before and i didn't need to look in the manual until it got to the more complicated features like the auto illumination.



As well as the AI it has many other features like 6 alarms , 2 stopwatches, world time, normal time and a timer.



when it says in the description dark green then believe it they are not lying it really is dark which from a distance is not noticeable but work very well in a forest environment.



the strength of the watch unit its self is very sturdy with the screen set back so the glass is protected and can withstand high amount of shock. Although the watch body is very strong i'm sorry to say that pins from the watch strap are not as one of them had sheered after getting caught.



Overall good sturdy watch for all outdoor people. not to say that laid back people cant have one but i would say it is more made for the active types.

Being a bit of a watch nerd and owning loads of different makes and styles I finally came to the conclusion that I needed one that I could comfortably wear when working around the house or cycling/yomping through the local woods without the ever present fear of it getting damaged and this baby does just that - in bucketloads !



It looks tough and it is tough. The glass is sunk below the resin casing so the only way to scratch/damage it is to deliberately strike the centre of the face with something hard and pointy.



It looks like something that wouldn't be out of place in the latest Bourne movie or gracing the arm of Sigourney Weaver in the Aliens series - it's totally solid.



The features cover all the basic requirements: stopwatches (2), timer, day/date, alarms plus it has a world clock which is surprisingly addictive and will mean that you are constantly annoying anyone in a 6ft radius by telling them what the time is now in Anchorage or Hong Kong !



The fit is extremely comfortable with a fully adjustable resin strap and two teeth on the buckle to ensure that it can't accidentally open and fall off.



The full-face illumination system also works a treat and having everything glowing in a phosphorus green means viewing the display is a doddle where ever you are.



Although this comes in black I went for the dark green (army olive is a better description) version because I wanted something a bit different.



The only slight downside at the moment, and I'm sure this is just because it's new, is that the buttons are a little stiff to press and you need to push them quite firmly to change modes.



Apart from that I can honestly say that this watch is a real doozy and I'm as happy as a dog with two bits with it - get one today !!!!

Cold man in Finland: if I want to replace the resin strap with Rhino 'nato style' strap, would a 20mm wide strap be appropriate for this Mudman model?
Watch Shop Team: The space where the lugs meet the case is narrower than 20mm so a nato style strap would not be suitable
