The site itself is good and easy to use and the watches well priced in comparison to other sellers, I would have rated it as excellent however my watch appeared to sit in limbo for over 24hrs after being picked before being dispatched and so wasn't received the next day as expected

I bought it for a 40th wedding present for my husband and gave it to him last night in the American Bar at the Savoy Hotel, London.

A very special occasion! He is thrilled with the watch. It looks so stylish, It is solar charged and water resistant to 200 feet which is more than perfect for skindiving. The watch is also radio controlled and is updated regularly. It is shock proof which is important to him as he works out in the fields and woods and with our four alpacas. It's good rugged looks means that he can wear it anywhere.

genuine reviewer. I do not work for casio or the watch shop. I thought about buying a used omega and then heard a colleafue complain how it had lost time. Never owned a g-shock before and it does everything you want from a watch. Robust, accurate, reliable. It takes a while to get to grips with settings so do keep the manual. Technical support from casio is extremely good. Delighted with this fantastic watch.

My son travels the world as he works in the oil business. He does not travel with his current watch however is constantly buying watches just for work which give up after each trip. I suggested I buy him a robust watch which will look good be functional, stylish, and be tough enough to last the pace, he suggested I look at G shock. I have received the watch, it ticks all the boxes, looks and feels much better than I imagined at this price range. I can't wait to give it to him when he returns tomorrow as an early x-Mass gift, it will go on it's first trip in 3 weeks time. My younger son who has now seen it has requested a G shock also, so will be ordering another style today. The range is fantastic.

Like most other people buying a G-Shock for the first time it's took some getting used to the controls.



But this is without doubt the best watch I've ever owned....Looks great and comfortable to wear!

This is an excellent watch. Do not hesitate, buy it!!



I saw this watch in a magazine a couple of months ago and its striking good looks caught my eye straight away. I was looking to upgrade my previous G-shock which I had for 7 years without fault.



I work as an armed response officer in one of the largest Police Forces in England. That said, I needed a watch that was tough, durable, comfy to wear and one that was reliable. This watch is all of the above and more. As you can imagine I do a lot of intense training each month and this watch stands up to the task with ease!



It is easy to set up and the radio control auto update is amazing. Last week when the clocks went back and hour (GMT) the watch updated itself so I didn't have to worry about my time keeping. There are over 20 different world time zones and if you travel to those countries the watch will update automatically. I have taken it to New York and can confirm this.



The rubber strap is excellent and does not compromise the expensive looks of the watch. My last G-shock had a steel bracelet and no matter if you was driving, shooting or writing a letter, the watch bracelet would rattle and after a while this becomes annoying.



If I had to change one thing about this watch I would install a light feature for when you are in total darkness. However, the illuminous hands are extremely good and stay bright for a considerable amount of time after being exposed to light.



This watch is excellent value for money and I would recommend it to family, friends and you!!

If you are looking for a watch that you can wear everyday with a suit or jeans and tee shirt then you need look no further. It is not the cheapest G-Shock but you will never be disappointed with your purchase.It does exactly what it says on the tin and it does come in a tin??? Once you have set the watch up then all you will need to do is expose it to light and leave it on or near your window at night to allow it to calibrate and show you the right time, date and day all of the time. I did have some issues with set up as I am very much a "plug and play" enthusiast but I had questions to ask Casio about setup, called their customer support and the job was done with ease and without making me look stupid to set the watch up was worth the time and effort. The watch feels and looks like a substantial timepiece on your arm but it is not heavy. I am not the biggest of people but the watch just fits and the presentation is awesome and looks better and works better than watches 10 times the price and the good thing is especially living in London it does not look like it wants to be "stolen" but looks can be deceiving as this watch is worth its weight in gold and I am looking forward to living with it for many years to come and when it no longer looks as good as it should I will buy another one. This watch is crafted to suit todays active lifestyle with a comfortable silicone strap and all of the technology you will ever need to tell the time correctly wherever you may be on the planet. This watch will go to work with you, on holiday, night out in fact anywhere. This watch will never let you down and is worth spending that little bit extra to become a proud owner of one of the most desirable watches in its price range and above. You will be glad you made the investment and anyone from an older teen to a retired gent from a mountain biker to a mountain climber this G-Shock will never let you down.

A great watch that is packed with features. The radio signal controlled time setting is particularly useful and works very well. It's a fairly large watch but not too heavy and sits very comfortably on the wrist. And just as importantly, it looks great!

I bought this watch at Christmas and am delighted I did. It's a great watch, the auto update is a fantastic feature and being a firefighter I have put it through some tough conditions which it has come out of with not even a scratch.

It's also quite an attractive watch. Alot of the other watches I looked at before buying this one were very 'industrial' looking in comparison.



There are two things I dont like about it,

1 - There's no light but the hands do glow quite bright after being exposed to light.

2 - When using the stop watch function, the small dial on the right becomes the minute counter and it's quite difficult to read with any accuracy. The second and split second counters are alot easier to read.



These minor complaints barely take away from the watch though. It was a great buy.

got watch 7 days after ordering which was great , it looks fantasic seems very tough but it would be great if the intructions were a even slightly user friendly . after 4 hrs still cant get it ,maybe i need a masters degree. i think i will try again 2moro

Paddy: I wear my watch night and day,including in bed when sleeping, one of the reviews mentions having to leave the watch on a window sill at night. What would happen if I wore the watch to bed as i would be relying on the alarm to wake me? Would the time still be accurate? Am I asking a daft question
Watch Shop Team: Gs-1100-1aer can be worn all the time as long as it has enough charge. Before the first use, charge it well as its tough solar, so near the window or any light would do not necessarily sun light, even a bulb or something similar. But this watch can definitely can be worn all the time
