Great watch exactly what I wanted, exactly like the Casio watch I used to have at school, this is what I was wanting, it's water resistant and I have been in the shower by accident with it still on and it's not affected the watch at all, if your looking for a retro day watch... This is perfect.

Best value watch. It has an alarm clock, stop watch, light and 24/12hr digital clock, what more can you want for a tenner. I think it has a fantastic retro design as well but that is just my opinion. Also I forgot to mention it's waterproof as well. If only everything you bought gave you so much for so little money.

This is the second time I have bought this item: I have had the first watch for five years and it has kept perfect time and served me well. The only reason I needed a replacement was that the original strap split in several places within the period of a week!!

Have used this watch for years. The only reason I need to keep getting a new one is that the plastic watch strap become brittle and breaks over time.

I love this watch! I brought it for my boyfriend as we had both brought a cheap version whilst travelling and they had broken! Now he has the real thing and loves it. Long lasting, simple but still looks lovely! Definately worth the money.

A bit of a dated model, but it's lasted for a reason, daren't wear anything more fancy when I'm working, it's waterproof, nigh on indestructible and at a good price. Only slight drawback is the back light which is an old-fashioned side light, but you can still see what you need. Seem to last forever, I only buy new ones when I've lost the previous one!

Cheap, effective, looks great. Lightweight and does the job nicely. The feel of it is great because of the lightweight nature and the fact isn't chunky or ugly. Looks good and quite hard wearing, I guess that's why it's a world-famous popular choice for cheap watch!

I'm sure the marketers have a category for me - I've bought the simple casio watches religiously since my first one was given to me by my uncle back in the 70's. I like the slim size of the "old style" casios, rather than the bulky ones that have appeared in the last few years. This was the first time I bought online and was very impressed when the watch was delivered to my home in Dublin 2 days after I ordered online. Much handier than looking in the shops.

This has to be the classic basic watch - does exactly what it says. Hardy enough to take a few knocks, and a sturdy strap. Useful when you don't want to wear your nice watch, but you need a reliable timepiece.

Simple but excellent for its price. Light and pleasant to wear. The display is clear and the light is bright enough to see it in the night. I use this watch to run, the chronograph is easy to use and allows a few useful features.

It's a great watch ... I've now got 6 of them all with broken straps .... pity because the battery (non-replaceable) lasts about 10 years whereas the resin strap only last 2 years at best.

No matter. For ~£10 this watch has to be the cheapest classic ever :) :) :)

BUT ... I've bought a Casio A163WA-1QGF with a S/S strap just to see whether the strap will outlast the watch.

This watch (even with the resin strap) is 5 star *****

The product is what I expected from my faint memories of owning the same watch in childhood. It is very light, has nice aesthetics with blue, yellow and red detailing, and a very comfortable, cheap and cheerful strap. It is all very subtle. I cannot find fault with any aspect of the watch. It has an alarm which has served to wake me up a couple of times now; it is perfectly loud enough. The watch has a green light feature for when the surroundings make the face of the watch too dark to read. The light illuminates enough of the watch for easy time viewing, while not being so bright to make battery life an issue. It has both 12hr and 24hr modes, and features a stopwatch. The watch is easy to navigate and set up, with a reassuring beep sound coming every time you toggle between the four modes: 1.Time and Date 2.Alarm 3.Stopwatch 4. Change time and/or Date.
All in all, a great watch, especially if you're looking to spend less than £50. Im my opinion, it would be hard to find a better value for money watch...and remember...first come first served!

Efficient service. watch arrived in 2 days. watch is very nice. comfortable to wear. light. looks cool. cheap.
looks better in person than in pic.
you should buy it if you are in the market for a watch. don't spend your money on a more expensive one, unless you are buying it as a gift. if it is for yourself, no that in 1 year you will not see a difference between a 200 pound watch and this watch.

I wanted a decent, unpretentious watch for everyday use, something that I could wear without fear of it getting scratched etc, that would be easy to see and easy to set up. It is all of these things. I owned a similar watch the first time round in the 1980s. Good value for money, a good time keeper
