Stylish Ball Engineer Master II model, with ETA 2836-2 Automatic movement, with day and date. The black with blue detailing dial offsets the black rubber straps, and Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) stainless steel case. DLC offers incredible resistance to scratches, and toughens the case immensely. The case is water resistant to 10 bar, with screw down crown and anti reflective sapphire crystal, and Ball's gas light tubes within the dial for unbeatable low light visibility. The case is designed to resist magnetic forces for less timekeeping variation.

The advent of the American railroad system can in many ways be attributed to the development of portable and reliable timepieces. For the first time it became important to be able to accurately and precisely keep time and modern watches were developed to keep things on track. At the forefront of this movement were Ball watches, created by railroad chief inspector Webster C. Ball. Ball is accredited with introducing and maintaining the first standardised time system on the railroads, establishing uniformity and accuracy for disaster prevention. The Ball watch has endured into the 21st century, adopting fashions that appeal to the modern consumer but each with the underlying principles of industrial function still in place. Ball watches today are inspired by freedom, travel and facing adversity head-on, for those who dare to dream and strive to live well.
