I bought this watch for my dads 70th birthday. Even though I knew what the watch looked like from pictures on the web-site I was still surprised by how stunning it was in real life. Though this is a more old fashioned style of watch I think anybody would be pleased with it. It came in a beautiful wooden veneer box which made it even more special. The watch face is big so it is easy to read also you have the date on the side. The watch strap is much nicer than the pictures on the web-site and it is also big so I don't think anybody wold have to add any links. In fact unless you are morbidly obese you would probably have some of the links removed. I would say that this watch is good value for money. You wont find another solid gold watch at this price and the one's nearest to it in price is no where near as good looking.
