I wanted a slim, elegant, gold Accurist watch without numerals and of a size which would enable me to tell the time without reading glasses - something I am no longer able to do with my 35 year old, tiny, gold Accurist watch. I am delighted with this watch although it took some time for me to become accustomed to a watch with other than a white face: the "champagne" face is darker than it appeared to be on the web but I now wouldn't change it.
