Versace Watches

Versace is one of the best known names in the world of fashion, including watches. The Italian label was first seen in 1978 when founder Gianni Versace took the fashion world by storm with his designs. Still one of the world’s leading design houses, Versace is dominated by Gianni’s sister Donatella and other family members who took over the company following the unfortunate murder of Gianni in 1997.

Versace is known for luxury clothing, fragrances, makeup, fashion accessories and furnishings for the home. There are several Versace labels, including Couture for high-end items, and Sport for active wear and accessories. This brand has been linked to many famous celebrities from Elton John and Madonna to Lady GaGa. Rappers like Tupac Shakur and other entertainers like Jennifer Lopez are also fans of Versace design.

The Versace watch collection was launched in 1994 when Gianni Versace collaborated with Frank Muller. Their first collection was named Atelier and is a favorite collectible item. Over the years, the Versace collection of timepieces has expanded and evolved. Watches are produced under license in Switzerland today.

Following the discontinuation of the Atelier collection of watches, Versace introduced a new fashion line, Precious Items. Included under this brand are writing instruments, fine jewellery and watches. Versace watches continue to be in high demand and are superb quality timepieces.
