Diesel was founded in 1978 by Italian fashion designer Renzo Rosso. When he started the company his goal was to manufacture products that went against tradition in the fashion industry. He hired designers with innovative ideas and gave them the stylistic freedom to go against the grain. Their intention was to make a clothing line for people who defined themselves by making expressions with the way they dressed.

They succeeded in their goals with their clothing line, and that same design philosophy can be found in their watches. You won't find traditional styling in a Diesel watch.
