Automatic Watches

This category holds all watches from Watch Shop that feature automatic movements. Automatic watches are charged by movement of the wearer's wrist. This movement moves internal parts in the watch, which causes a main spring to be wound. Once an automatic watch is fully charged, it usually has a power reserve of around 38 hours. Once it loses its charge, it needs to be recharged. If it has stopped completely, it should first be initiated by winding the crown clockwise until it starts to get tight. It is important not to overwind the watch. Once it starts to feel tight, the watch should be worn as usual which will complete the recharging process.

An automatic watch that is worn every day should not ever need to be wound manually.
