Asics watches

Asics is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of footwear, apparel and accessories for competitive runners. Their products have been worn by many great athletes, some world-famous and some known only to themselves. In keeping with this tradition, Asics has produced a line of superbly-designed watches for the sport enthusiast.

These watches are durable, reliable and affordable. They are not ornate museum pieces. They have cases of tough plastic resin that can take some jarring, and water resistance ensures that an accidental dunk won’t stop them. The straps are rubber, a material that is comfortable and resistant to perspiration. Like all Asics products, these timepieces are made with an understanding of what runners really need.

These watches are easy to read at a glance. They are all digital and have large, clear numbers that contrast well with the background. Some models also have lap counters. All models have chronograph function, so essential for runners in races. Even when this function is being displayed, the numbers are clear enough to be read without mistake in a fleeting instant. A backlight further enhances legibility.

Asics watches have more than just excellent timekeeping and multiple functions. They also look great. The lines of the plastic cases and rubber bracelets flow together in fluid curves suggestive of speed and agility. There are no sharp edges.
